Kathy Diehl turned her love of baking into a business when she opened Sweets and Java in 2015. Today, this popular community coffeehouse offers a wide variety of homemade treats, sandwiches, and salads, along with fresh-brewed coffee, lattes and espresso drinks featuring local coffee roaster blends. Teas are all loose leaf and steeped to order including a variety of black, green, and herbal teas.
Breakfast options include daily quiche, egg and cheese sandwiches, egg frittatas (gluten free), croissants and homemade fresh baked pastries. Just like their baked goods, you never know what new and creative items will be coming out of the kitchen. Lunches include beef chili, daily soups, and sandwiches. Sweets and Java is open 7 days a week from 7:00am to 2:00pm.
Now offering a take-out window! If you would prefer not to enter the café, you can simply order online and pick up at the window.
Parking is available to the right of the cafe or in the municipal lot across the street.
