Itinerary
Day 1: Overnight flight
Day 2: Tour begins in Lisbon, Portugal’s capital.
Day 3: Explore Lisbon. Travel to Belem. Visit Belem Tower and the Jeronimos Monastery.
Day 4: Journey through Portugal’s countryside.Tour a family-owned cork factory.Visit Evora, the Museum City of Portugal. Enjoy a traditional Alentejo lunch before exploring on your own.
Day 5: Journey to the stunning coasts of the Algarve. Enjoy lunch and a winery tour. Explore the historic resort town of Lagos.
Day 6: Experience the Algarve on your own. You may choose to join an optional boat tour.
Day 7: Venture to Silves. Explore at your own pace or climb up to the castle, an example of Moorish architecture. Venture into a local farm for a savory lunch featuring Algarve seasonal and local specialties.
Day 8: En route to the Portuguese Riviera, stop in Setubal, a colorful industrial city. Visit the farmers market and meet local artisans to learn how the famous hand-painted tiles are made.
Day 9: Explore the picture-perfect city of Obidos before continuing on to Sintra, Explore this quaint hilltop village or venture into the National Palace of Sintra. Farewell dinner.
