Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia. No scheduled activities this day.
Day 2: Ascend Grouse Mountain on an enclosed gondola. Enjoy breakfast and the views. Begin Vancouver sightseeing tour at Stanley Park. Take in the picturesque Granville Island Public Market.
Day 3: Onboard the Rocky Mountaineer, embark on an awe-inspiring rail journey from Vancouver to Banff, Alberta.
Day 4: Continue east on the Rocky Mountaineer to the spectacular Canadian Rocky Mountains. Arrive in the village of Lake Louise and settle in to the famous Fairmont Chateau.
Day 5: After a leisurely morning set off for a scenic drive through Banff featuring Bow Falls and Surprise Corner. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure exploring Banff’s downtown.
Day 6: Set out along the unforgettable Icefields Parkway. Stop at the Athabasca Glacier where it’s your choice! Take a ride across the glacial ice or take a walk on the Columbia Icefield Skywalk!
Day 7: Enjoy a morning at leisure in Banff before heading to Calgary where the wild west meets industrial skyscrapers. Stop at Cave and Basin National Historic site. Join in a farewell dinner.
