The Wachusett Area Chamber of Commerce recently awarded three $2500 scholarships to graduating seniors from the Wachusett area who will be pursuing degrees in business this fall. Shown at the Annual Dinner  with Chamber President Johnna Carlson (left) and Executive Director Jen Stanovich are: (left to right)  Miru Kunst of West Boylston, a graduate of Norfolk County Agricultural High School, who will pursue an industrial engineering degree at Worcester Polytechnic Institute School of Business;  Samantha Bradshaw of Holden, a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School, who will major in Management and Economics at Providence College; and Kendall Grady of Sterling, also a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School, who will be majoring in Economics at the College of the Holy Cross. As a result of her exceptional dedication to community service, Kunst also received the Brian R. Forts Memorial Scholarship that comes with an additional $1000 award.

Special thanks to all the sponsors, golfers and prize donors who contributed to this year’s Scholarship Scramble Golf Tournament. These scholarships would not be possible without your generous support! To date, the Chamber has awarded $133,500 in scholarships to deserving students.
