Up To Four $2500 Scholarships
The Brian R. Forts Memorial Scholarship Recognizes Exceptional Community Service
The Wachusett Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to once again offer scholarships for graduating seniors who reside in the Wachusett Area. This year, four scholarships will be awarded. Three of these $2,500 scholarships are designated for students pursuing a degree in business at a two‑ or four‑year college. Applicants with exceptional community service may also be considered for the Brian R. Forts Memorial Scholarship, which includes an additional award.
We are also pleased to announce a new $2,500 scholarship specifically for a student entering a technical field of study. This scholarship is intended to support students preparing for high‑demand technical professions and reflects the Chamber’s commitment to strengthening our region’s workforce.
To be eligible, applicants must reside in one of the following towns served by the Wachusett Area Chamber of Commerce: Boylston, Holden, Paxton, Princeton, Rutland, Sterling, or West Boylston. Students applying for the business scholarships must be pursuing business studies, while applicants for the technical scholarship must be planning to enter a technical field.
The scholarship applications are available below and can be obtained from the Guidance Department at area high schools. Students are asked to mail the completed application, along with the required information to the Wachusett Area Chamber of Commerce, 1174 Main Street, Holden, MA 01520.
The deadline to apply is April 30, 2026. The winners will be announced prior to high school graduation and the awards will be given out at the Wachusett Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting on June 2.
The Chamber will host events throughout the year to fund this program, including the Scholarship Scramble Golf Tournament scheduled for May 18 at Sterling National Country Club in Sterling.
